 Dr. Andrew C. Chu is a management consultant living in San Marcos, CA. He is an adjunct professor of Business Strategy at California State University at San Marcos.
Dr. Chu has over 35 years of managerial experience. He began his career at Cummins Engine Company, the world's leading diesel engine manufacturer, where he established their Asia division. Later, he joined Borg Warner Automotive, a diversified power train component manufacturer, and served as CEO of Borg Warner's first Chinese joint venture.
While serving in these roles, Dr. Chu developed marketing and sales networks, negotiated product technology licenses, formed joint ventures and wholly- owned subsidiaries and established strategic sourcing. He successfully created unique business models and cross-cultural corporate milieu for Cummins and for Borg Warner.
Dr. Chu lived in Beijing from 1995 through 2001.
Dr. Chu has a Ph D in Engineering from University of Wisconsin and completed the Stanford Executive Program. |
